Just a few things I am going to say
They asked me NOT you, YOU just make it more complicated then what it should be. Mind your OWN business, when I want your OPINION or HELP I will ask for it.
When I say LEAVE and I will find it I am not just saying oh I hate putting you out but I really want you to stay, I really mean LEAVE and I WILL find it! YOU get in the way and are INVADING my bubble.
That is all Thank You for listening

Oh the HORROR!!!!!
Tonight I was watching the Mentalist (great show) when I decided to make chocolate chip cookies. Of course though I had to wait for the show to be done with, but through out the show I thought I am going to have some great cookies. The show got done at 10 I had Mikaydee pick out a movie because she was going to stay up with me (she wanted some cookie dough). Well I get to the kitchen and lo and behold the recipe is GONE. I could not make cookies because I liked that recipe. So all of my hopes and dreams of the warm out of the oven cookie with a glass of milk shattered. Well you might say that I should branch out try a new recipe but I like to stick to things I know will taste good I do it with everything, but this is my plee to you. If you have really and I mean really good chocolate chip recipe please share. Thank you

Cooking with Grandma
This morning about 10 I got a phone call, reminding them that I taught the lesson in Relief Society tomorrow. I kindly said that I teach the third Sunday of the month not the second, but if they needed me to teach I would. BIG MISTAKE, the counselor said that she would call the other girls and then let me know. 10 minutes later I got a phone call saying that yes I would need to teach the lesson. The lesson is on Relief Society: Divine Organization of Women. I thought what better way to teach then to give treats. After all that is what we are known for right. I was deciding on what treat to make between mint cookies, Rollo cookies, or something else. I called my mada and asked her opinion. She said that I should make Carmels, and to give Grandma a call and ask for the recipe. My Grandma gave me the recipe but then said that I should just come up and she would show me how to make them. I think that was the best option for me. Oh I love my Grandma, so I gathered Mikaydee and Cade in my car and headed up there since it was my parents anniversary they were under my watchful eye (HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MUM AND POPS I LOVE YOU) Here are the pictures of cooking,

What it first looks like, it is trying to boil

Ok here is the funny thing, my Grandma is an AMAZING cook. When we got there she was talking of how she let her bread rise to much. I was thinking oh now she has to through it away. Oh no not Grandma she makes scones from it. Yes that is right scones who would have thought to do that. Not me, this is a picture of her making scones from far away.

Here is a picture of my delicious scone, and Mikaydee and Cade making theirs.

Here is what it looks like after we poured it in the bowl

My Grandma and I with my finished product. Well it isn't finished yet I had to let it cool and then cut it up but I did that at home

Here they are the finished product. My sister Mikaydee helped me with her AMAZING wrapping skills. If you need her help wrapping anything she is your girl.

YES WE DID MAKE IT
Even though I am sure that all of you new when I ended my last post that you were sure we made it. Yes we did, we are cool I know, I will show you picks of what led up to the point.

Here are some pictures of me and my handsome pops. I was pointing at Mikaydee because her and my father were making fun of me at this point of the hike. All the way up there is just a drop off all along the side of the trail. Well I am terrified of heights, well the story goes that my dad was getting excited about mountain goats and was pointing at them well he slipped a little caught himself and moved on. Needless to say I almost started crying, and wasn't sure I was going to go any further, that is why they were making fun of me. How rude.

As we were nearing the top, we came across snow. That is right SNOW in AUGUST. Who would of thought so my dad went and grabbed some and threw it at Mikaydee and I.

We made it up at 9. Here I am trying to call people on the phone so they can come out and so they could see us flashing the mirror. Mikaydee pointing to our house (I don't think she saw it) and my poppy with the mirror and also trying to call people.
In my dads picture you can see a box he is standing by. When you get to the top you write your name in it saying you were there so now our names are forever on top of Ben Lomond (unless they take the box down).

Pic of Mikaydee and I. There is Mikaydee pointing again to the house:). Oh and how random is that once we got to the top we had a few minutes to ourselves and then a guy from Illinois came up. I figured we might run into some other people but not a guy from Illinois. How lucky we are to have a mountain like this to climb.
In the last post I asked the question was it worth it? The answer to that a resounding YES. I wasn't going to go on this hike because like I said I am TERRIFIED of heights. In the end I went to prove to myself that I could do it. I am still terrified yes, I guess I just need to work on that a bit, but I can say yes I hiked to Ben Lomond peek. Will I do it again? I don't know, I guess I will have to see when the day comes.

Was it worth it?
My poppy, me sister Mikaydee and I were crazy enough to wake up at 5 in the morning on a Saturday and go hiking to Ben Lomond Peak.

This is the time we left the house, we came back a few minutes later because my dad left his sun glasses in the garage

Here we are all getting ready to head out on the trail

3 1/2 miles to go

Here are the cool animals we saw the first picture is of buck we saw, but you cant really see them. The next is the mountain goats, they were everywhere. Last but not least Billy the HUGE mountain goat we saw, he was the size of a small horse. We also saw fox, moose, and grouse oh and also a bird which my dad says was a chipmunk.
